Fourth suspect in XXXTentacion murder arrested and jailed.

Police have arrested the fourth suspect in the shooting death of 20-year-old rapper XXXTentacion. 20-year-old Trayvon Newsome was taken into custody shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a statement posted by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office on Twitter. Newsome surrendered at his lawyer’s office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has been booked on charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon. Newsome was the last of the four suspects to be taken into custody following the arrests of Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright and Robert Allen . In July, a grand jury in Fort Lauderdale indicted all four men on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery. XXXTentacion whose real name was Johseh Onfroy was fatally shot after leaving a motorcycle dealership in June. THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, runners up in the party’s governorship primary, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, has declared that he was still in the race, adding that he has not stepped down for the candidate of the party, Senator Ademola Adeleke. Senator Adeleke is having a case in the Osun State high court over his eligibility to contest the September 22 election. The siege to the National Assembly complex by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS yesterday was inspired by constitutional disputations as to the requirements for the removal of a presiding officer of the Senate. Until recently, there had been no argument as to what the constitution as stipulated in Section 50(2)(c) meant. That section which reads that a presiding officer, shall be removed “from office by a resolution of the Senate or of the House of Representatives, as the case may be, by the votes of not less than two-thirds majority of the members of that House.” It had been understood to mean that the provision expressly requires two-thirds of the 109 members of the Senate. That was the precedent that had been used in the removal of the only two presiding officers of the National Assembly in the history of the Fourth Republic; Senator Evan Enwerem (November, 1999) and Senator Chuba Okadigbo (August, 2000). The former England No 1 signed a two-year contract worth £3.5million plus add-ons with Sean Dyche 's side, with the option of an extra season after falling out of favour at Manchester City. The 31-year-old who is looking for first-team football will wear the No 20 shirt at Turf Moor and will compete with fellow goalkeepers Tom Heaton and Nick Pope for the No 1 spot this season.

Princess, of Big Brother Naija season 3, has addressed the acid threat mail fellow housemate, Cee C said she received. Princess began the address by stating that the mail shared by Cee C, which was sent to her by someone claiming to be a fan of Alex and Tobi, might actually be a publicity stunt. "First of all, 'IF' this is an actual threat and not a publicity stunt, it should be sent to the law enforcement agencies and not social media," Princess began in her post. She then went on to scold fans of housemates for breeding negativity and constantly attacking other housemates and their fans. Legendary Egyptian goal keeper, Essam El-Hadary retires at the age of 45

Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary who set the record as the oldest player to feature at a World Cup during the just concluded Russia 2018 tournament has retired from internationals football. The 45-year-old, who won four Africa Cup of Nations, made his debut in 1996 and played 159 times for his country. He played Egypt's final group game in Russia, saving a penalty in the Pharaohs' 2-1 defeat by Saudi Arabia. "After 22 years, four months and 12 days, I saw it as the best moment to hang up my gloves. I am very proud to have played with the national team in 159 internationals, participating in unprecedented achievements" said El- Hadary.
