  A Nigerian lady reportedly lost a chance to become a bank employee because of her countenance towards the security guard. A Twitter user simply known as Chidiebere shared the story on the micro-blogging platform as narrated to him by the security man, who is his friend. According to him, the lady went for a job interview and during the process, the security man tried talking to her but she snubbed him thinking that he had nothing relevant to say. Unknown to her, the security man had the oral interview questions and he wanted to give it to her but due to her behaviour, he just handed it to someone else.   A video which surfaced online captures the moment a male dispatch rider was seduced by a lady, he went to deliver a parcel to.  The dispatch rider could be seen knowing to enter the lady’s room while she recorded the moment. She seemed to have intentionally taken off her clothes knowingly fully well the rider was around, so she asked him to enter. The rider opened the door and immediately pulled back on seeing the woman unclad. She insisted the young man comes into her room to hand her the parcel as she won’t stand up.   A 22-year-old man identified as Idris Shuaib has allegedly committed suicide after he hung himself on a tree on his father’s farm at Gwanara in the Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State.   According to Shuaib’s uncle, the victim who was from Ankara Wooro compound, Gwanara, allegedly took his life because he was impotent.   Minister of Defence, Maj.-Gen. Bashir Magashi (Rtd), has said that the delay in declaring bandits as terrorists is caused by the need to follow due process. Magashi, gave the explanation on Friday, in Maiduguri, while fielding questions from journalists. NAN reports that the Defence Minister stressed that there was a procedure that needed to be observed before such a declaration “We are not declaring them terrorists because there is a procedure for doing that. “When the procedure is followed, they will be classified as terrorists.   No fewer than 27 commercial sex workers have been arrested following raids by security personnel on brothels in Abuja.    Confirming the arrest to newsmen, Sani Amar, the Acting Director, Social Welfare Services, FCT Social Development Secretariat, said the arrest is part of efforts to safeguard the health of residents in the territory.  Amar while acting on the directives of the FCT Minister, had led a team of security agencies and evacuation squad of SDS, to raid a brothel in the FCT. An 18-year-old teenager has been arrested for murder after the decomposing body of her mother was found on the side of the road days after she had reported her missing in Free State, South Africa.    Spokesperson for the Free State police, Brigadier Motantsi Makhele, in a statement on Friday, October 29, said that the teenager's 19-year-old boyfriend has also been arrested. Makhele said the teenager opened a missing persons case on Tuesday, 19 October. She allegedly told police that she last saw her 46-year-old mother, Sharon Fisher, alive on 14 October.    On Sunday 24 October, the mother's decomposed body was found near the R721 Kroonstad/Vredefort road.    "Her arrest emanated from an inquest docket, which was opened following the discovery of the body of her 46-year-old mother. A Louisiana man identified as Troy Davis has been accused of slapping a police officer unprovoked. According to an arrest report, the incident happened in the 1800 block of Grammont Street, Monroe on the night of October 24, 2021. KNOE reports that a Monroe police officer said he was driving by when Davis waved him down In an arrest report, the officer wrote that man approached his driver-side window and said “What’s up, man?” before proceeding to slap the officer in the face. According to the police report, Davis then said “F**k the police” as he began walking away. He was immediately arrested and booked on a felony charge of battery of a police officer. .  

A police officer identified as Bishop Eno has been accused of shooting a woman in Delta State after she allegedly turned down his marriage proposal.   Human rights activist, Fejiro Oliver, who disclosed this on Friday, October 29, said that the officer attacked to the Isoko division of the Delta State Police Command and the victim dated for five years only for her to find out that he is already married with a child.  She was said to have refused to marry him because of that and he subsequently demanded she refund the N1.5 million he spent opening a shop for her.
