Man stops police officer’s car just to slap him in the face
A Louisiana man identified as Troy Davis has been accused of slapping a police officer unprovoked.
According to an arrest report, the incident happened in the 1800 block of Grammont Street, Monroe on the night of October 24, 2021.
KNOE reports that a Monroe police officer said he was driving by when Davis waved him down
In an arrest report, the officer wrote that man approached his driver-side window and said “What’s up, man?” before proceeding to slap the officer in the face.
According to the police report, Davis then said “F**k the police” as he began walking away.
He was immediately arrested and booked on a felony charge of battery of a police officer.
