The senator representing Kogi west constituency, Sen. Dino Melaye, has defected to PDP. He announced his defection during plenary this morning May 30th. Dino who was hospitalized after his faceoff with the police last month, appeared on the floor of the senate in a white attire and a bandage wrapped around his neck. In April, Melaye was arrested after presenting himself to the police to answer questions on allegations of sponsoring a criminal gang. The senate is currently in a rowdy session following Dino Melaye’s announcement for his defection to PDP. Dino during plenary this morning, thanked his colleagues particularly members of the PDP for standing by his during his ordeal with the police. Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi, has warned traders in the state that they risk the chance of losing their shops forever if they obey the sit-at-home order issued by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra group, IPOB. The group had called on their members to sit at home today May 30th as they honor all their members that have lost their lives in the struggle for the creation of Biafra. Award-winning Mavin act, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon better known as Reekado Banks, has revealed that former Super Eagles star, Emmanuel Emenike, who got married last weekend to former Miss Nigeria 2014, Iheoma Nnnadi, was divorced with former Miss Nigeria 2013.  It is not certain how true is claims are, but he seems so certain.  Reekado Banks shared: ‘This is Emmanuel Emenike.
