Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has revealed that domestic work childcare don’t come pre-programmed in your vagina.

She said this while speaking on pregnancy and feminism, during a chat with The Guardian UK’s Lisa Allardice. According to her: “There are so many women for whom pregnancy is the thing that pushed them down, and we need to account for that. .

We need to have a clause in every job that a woman who gets pregnant gets her job back in exactly the same way. It’s wrong! I don’t think I’m more inherently likely to do domestic work, or childcare … It doesn’t come pre-programmed in your vagina, right?” 📷: Guardian

eNaira app taken down from Google play store days after it was launched by President Buhari

  Days after the eNaira speed wallet application was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari after being rolled out by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), it has been taken down from Google play store.    The eNaira speed wallet has reportedly been receiving negative reviews from Nigerians who tried creating an account.  Reacting to claims of the apps being taken down from Google play store for violating its policies which includes functionality, Osita Nwanisobi, spokesperson of the CBN told TheCable that the removal was to help the apex bank upgrade the app’s functionalities.   Nwanisobi said;    “There is an upgrade going on and I guess it’s ok now."   The mobile application for merchants which is called ‘eNaira Speed Merchant Wallet’, is still available for download. It also has bad reviews even though it has 10,000 downloads.
