We have no plans to make any offers for Neymar –Real Madrid

Real Madrid have said they have no plans to make any offers for PSG forward,
Neymar .
The football club made this known via a terse tweet on its verified Twitter handle
and also on its home page on Friday .
The short statement reads : “ Given the constant information linking the PSG player
Neymar Jr. with our club, Real Madrid CF wants to clarify that he has no plans to
make any offers for the player .
“ The relationship between the
two clubs is extraordinary , so
that , if at some point Real
Madrid were considering hiring
a PSG player , the first thing he
would do would be to go to his
club. ”
The information is an obvious
response to rumours making
the rounds that the Real Madrid
was already negotiating
Neymar ’s enlistment .
An online forum had claimed
that Real Madrid had sent emissaries to Neymar ’ s father to convince his son to
come to Real.
The site had reported that the operation to sign Neymar for Real Madrid was
entering a crucial period after it became known that the Spanish club have asked
Juni Calafat to begin negotiations with the player ’ s father .
“ At least that ’ s what is being said in Brazil , ” the site claimed .
According to “ Globesporte , ” Calafat, head of the international football department
at Real, has established the first contact in order convince the player to join Los
Blancos next season .
“ The Brazilian has a contract until 2022 with Paris Saint - Germain , and the refusal
of president Nasser Al - Khelaifi to allow his star to exit is resounding , ” Marca
reports.
It surmises that Madrid are aware that it will be a tough negotiation but trust that
the player ’ s dad can exert the necessary pressure to open the doors .
“ In France, there is no buyout clause,
and PSG spent more than 200 million
euros for the former Barcelona
player just a year ago .
“ The French club are unlikely to see
any value in selling him so quickly ,
unless it is the footballer who forces
his departure , ” Marca adds .
Another online forum counters
Marca , reporting that PSG are hoping
that offering the Brazilian a salary in
the region of Messi ’ s will be enough
to dispel any thoughts he is harbouring to move to Madrid.
“ PSG will know that now Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid , president
Florentino Pérez will be on the hunt for another superstar to fill the void left by
the Portuguese . And top of his list is none other than Neymar , ” en . as reports .
“ The Brazilian striker, who arrived in Paris just one year ago for a world - record
fee of 222 million euros , would look favourably on a move to Madrid, even more
so now that Ronaldo has packed his bags.
“ With this in mind and eager to hold on the 26 - year - old , PSG have initiated talks
with his representatives and want to improve his contract terms , ” the site claims;
adding , “ PSG will pay Neymar the same as Messi . ”
Neymar signed a five - year contract worth 37 million euros net a year when he
joined the club a year ago .
“ Now , PSG is reportedly willing to offer him a salary in the region of Lionel
Messi ’s , the world ’s highest paid player at 50 million euros per year , ” en .as says ,
quoting no source in particular .
“ With no release clause in his contract, Real Madrid ’s plan is to convince Neymar
to ask PSG to sell him . But the Parisian club are hoping this new salary offer will
prevent him from wanting to leave .
“ If Madrid ’ s plan fails , plan B is Neymar ’ s teammate Kylian Mbappé , who is seven
years younger and whose price would be lower , ” the site continues .
In a bid to keep Neymar happy in Paris , PSG has also hired Bruno Mazziotti , the
physio for the Brazilian national team , who became close to the player while he
was recovering from a foot injury that had kept him out for three months earlier
this year , the site says
