IPOB Sit At Home Exercise: Photos From Onitsha Anambra State

Today was declared to be a day set aside to honour fallen heroes of the Biafra/IPOB
movement in Eastern Nigeria. From different reports we have been getting from the
internet, the Sit-At-Home was definitely a success in Onitsha.
It was observed that all Filling stations from Awka Road down to the Main Market
was locked and people who wants to Purchase PMS was left stranded. Information
gathered revealed that the head bridge and Onitsha Enugu express road is a shadow
of itself. Reports also has it that Military presence was seen in onitsha town for a
show of force as well as Jets.

  ISWAP,  a deadly faction of the now-depleted Boko Haram Insurgents on Tuesday ambushed passengers on the Maiduguri- Tamsu Kawu-Ngamdu-Damaturu road. eNaira app taken down from Google play store days after it was launched by President Buhari

  Days after the eNaira speed wallet application was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari after being rolled out by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), it has been taken down from Google play store.    The eNaira speed wallet has reportedly been receiving negative reviews from Nigerians who tried creating an account.  Reacting to claims of the apps being taken down from Google play store for violating its policies which includes functionality, Osita Nwanisobi, spokesperson of the CBN told TheCable that the removal was to help the apex bank upgrade the app’s functionalities.   Nwanisobi said;    “There is an upgrade going on and I guess it’s ok now."   The mobile application for merchants which is called ‘eNaira Speed Merchant Wallet’, is still available for download. It also has bad reviews even though it has 10,000 downloads.
