#Russia2018: ‘My new name is Chibuike’ – John Dumelo says, Nigerians react

Top Ghanaian Nollywood actor, John Dumelo has declared that his new name is
Chibuike in reaction to the victory of the super eagles of Nigeria over Iceland in the
second game yesterday. 
John who had criticized the Super Eagles of Nigeria on social media a few days ago
following their loss to Croatia appears to be happy for the victory.
John announced the change of name on social media and many Nigerians who
remembered his earlier criticisms are not accepting him as one of them.

PDP: Reconciliation move breaks down

THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, runners up in the party’s governorship primary, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, has declared that he was still in the race, adding that he has not stepped down for the candidate of the party, Senator Ademola Adeleke. Senator Adeleke is having a case in the Osun State high court over his eligibility to contest the September 22 election. A statement by the campaign organization of Dr Ogunbiyi reads: “The attention of Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has been drawn to a misinformation going round that Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has signed an agreement and withdrawn for Senator Ademola Adeleke. “We wish to put the records straight.
